I have a custom config I would like to start with dnsmasq. I would like to restart in my usb drives .autostart file. I'm wondering if someone could help with the syntax. I have limited experience with Linux and through the power of google I feel I'm close.
Here is the contents of the .autostart file that is at the root of my usb. I've only tried to run the dnsmasq line via ssh to validate it works and it doesn't seem to. I enter a weird mode in which I get ">" as a cursor and I cannot get out of that mode without killing my ssh session.

A=$(( $A - 1 ))
if [ -f /var/notice/sysup ] ; then break; fi
