I have Tomato Shibby build 120, also 119, which I've really been liking a lot. I do, however, have one major problem I noticed. Wireless is stuck on what looks to be default channels and frequencies, and I don't understand why.
In 119, I can configure the channels as follows:
2.4 GHz: Channel 7, 40MHz
5 GHz: Channel 161, 40MHz
When I actually do that, the status->overview shows it like that on 119, on 120 it actually shows the real values actually happening. The channel on the 2.4GHz band is actually on channel 1, along with, in my area, 6 other AP's within a strong enough range to be noisy. This causes some very bad issues with networking stability. On the 5GHz band, it's stuck on channel 36 with what appears to be 80MHz according to 120's overview, but I cannot accurately determine the real MHz from anywhere yet.
The wierd thing is, occassionally the 2.4GHz band steers back to the configured channel of 7, at least according to my scans from other sources, like my laptop.
Why is this, and how can this be fixed? Is this a bug with the shibby build firmware causing this, because it seems like it is, to me.
Help would be appreciated and thank you,
