I'm running my RT-N12 using Shibby v1.28.0000 MIPSR2-119 K26 Max, in wireless ethernet bridge mode using an RT-N56U as the host.
Status from the wireless overview page:
Security WPA2 Personal (PSK) + AES
Channel 8 - 2.447 GHz
Channel Width 40 MHz
Interference Level Acceptable
Rate 81 Mbps
RSSI -46 dBm
Noise -92 dBm
Signal Quality 46
Tested a few different Tx powers, but they didn't seem to have much of an effect on anything, so I just reduced it down to 10mW. Otherwise, everything else is on default options.
So, the problem is that, while my connection is stable, my Rx rates are not. On the status page, I see it usually hovering between 54-108Mbps, but sometimes dropping down to 11Mbps. I've rarely seen it at the full 300Mbps, and I'm wondering what I can do to reach that? A hardline into the host router gets a solid ~297Mbps symmetrical on a speed test, while a hardline via the bridge gets me 60-90Mbps up, with 14-50Mbps downs. Thanks!
