I am creating an Access Point for passengers at the airport. I am having 3G dongle connected to Windows 8.1 PC. The Windows PC is connected to a Asus n66u with "Tomato Firmware 1.28" through a wired connect. I have set up a wireless with no security on the router for users to connect to. Now i want to do the following:
1. Users can access the internet through the 3G dongle connected to the PC. I have enabled "Internet Connection Sharing" for the dongle connect on the PC. I selected interface on which my router is connected in the "Home networking connection" dropdown. Now how can users connected to the access point get internet connectivity via the dongle?
2. Users must be able to visit a website hosted on the PC. In the dnsmaq on the router, I have added a redirection for the website name "airport.in" to the ip address of the PC. The router has been configured to given the same ip to the PC (MAC address). This redirection works properly. But when i enable internet sharing on the PC, the redirection stopped working. Any clue why this could happen?
3. I want to block all the websites and allow only two websites to be accessible via the shared internet. I want only gmail and facebook to be allowed. Rest all public website must be blocked. How can this be done?
