I would really appreciate some help with these issues. I have two problems and I don't know if they're related or not.
There are 2 routers, both of them are Linksys E2500's running Tomato Version 1.28 by shibby. One of them is configured as an Access Point for two wireless networks (2.4Ghz & 5Ghz) and it is only connected to the modem by wire, no other wired devices. The other is a Wireless Ethernet Bridge connected on the 5Ghz AP.

Wireless Ethernet Bridge Configuration

1) The Wireless Ethernet Bridge can successfully connect to the 5Ghz but while it is connected, no other wireless clients can connect to the 5Ghz SSID. When I try to connect on my Android phone, it says "connecting" and then says nothing like it just gives up. On my Windows laptop it freezes the whole interface for choosing a wireless network and I have to restart Windows.
2) Devices connected by wire to the Wireless Ethernet Bridge cannot reach devices on the 2.4Ghz AP even though they have IP addresses on the same subnet. Addresses are assigned by DHCP from the AP router in both scenarios, behind the bridge or not. As it is implied, devices connected to the bridge are able to reach each other.
What could possibly be causing this? Should I try reverting to an older build?
