I need to do a 1 to 1 NAT from an IP address on VLAN3 to another IP address on VLAN1. I'm running Shibby Tomato 1.28
Here's what I'm trying to do .. I have a printer on VLAN1 that I want to be accessible on VLAN3. I know I could just route between the VLANs, but I need this one host to be the only one available on both VLANs.
On VLAN1, the printer's IP address is 172.22.198.167
On VLAN3, the IP I want statically NAT'd is 172.16.0.25
The end result, I need all packets sent to 172.16.0.25 on VLAN3 to be sent to 172.22.198.167 on VLAN1.
Any ideas on the syntax to get this working?
Thanks in advance …
I'm pretty sure the IPTABLES command can do this, but I'm not finding any examples of SNAT between VLANS. Only WAN to VLAN.
