I have two questions about Tomato VPN. I've recently flashed my Asus router with TomatoUSB, and have been trying to set up its VPN server.
I've managed to setup the VPN server on Tomato, and OpenVPN on the Windows client computer
When VPN tunnel is established, OpenVPN doesn not request login/password credentials.
Can they be configured? At the client or at the server?
After the VPN tunnel is established at the client computer
- From the client, I can ping all computers on the LAN behind the Tomato router, eg my Synology NAS
- From the client, I can access the Synology's web page by entering its IP address into a browser
However, from the client, I can't "see" these other devices, ie the only devices that is displayed is the local client computer.
This means that there is no way to access files stored on the Synology NAS.
On Tomato -> VPN Tunnelling -> Advanced, I have checked the option "Push LAN to clients" but it doesn't seem to work.
Can anyone help?
