I've been running tomatoUSB on my Asus RT-N16 for a couple of years now with pretty good result, I do feel I have to reboot the router every now and then especially after having run torrents on my NAS for a while. I have been using the 'Build 54 - dated 11/30/2010' firmware all along but it seems there are some updates from other developers here (shibby/toastman) etc and I was wondering if its recommended / worth updating my firmware. I run a Synology NAS on the router where I do some torrenting, stream tv/video files to my appleTV (XBMC), run a couple of game consoles and a couple of laptops. I would need support for VPN as I need to get UK IPs to get some of the streaming apps to work.
What firmware do I need if I should update?
