I am trying to proxy the tomato webgui through lighttpd. I have the webgui listening on port 30080 and lighttpd listening on ports 80 and 443. I am trying to proxy the webgui through lighttpd so that it can be accessed as well from port 443 (and 80, but mainly 443), but couldn´t figure it out yet. I think my problem is that there is no url rewrite done after the proxy has been done, so when I try to access https : // my.domain.name .com /webgui, it proxies to localhost on port 30080, but it says it doesn´t find the page, because the tomato web interface doesn´t have a /webgui subdirectory. After it proxies, it should rewrite /webgui to / for my current setup to work. But it seems that isn´t possible on lighttpd 1.4.32
I can access the webgui from port 30080 but most open wifi spots and my work office only allow traffic from ports 80 and 443, so I can´t access it from everywhere.
I am running Shibby mod 1.28 on an asus rt-n16 and lighttpd from optware.
Any ideas? Did someone get this working?
