The HDD Spindown features is not working for me.
I have a Asus RT-N16 running on Shibby's tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-115-AIO.trx.
I have a Seagate Backup Plus 3TB drive, formatted to ext3, connected to one of the usb ports and have HDD Spindown checked in the admin console, but it doesn't seem to spin down the hard drive.
As far as I can tell, the HDD Spindown feature is supposed to be the sd-idle-2.6 script that is integrated into the Tomato firmware. I have also tried setting up that script to run via a mount.autorun file on the root of the drive to no success.
Additionally, I saw mention of trying to use scsi-stop in the console via ssh, but it said that the command was not found.
Is there anything else I can try to get my drives to spindown? I want to extend the life of the drives and reduce power consumption.
