I was just messing around with the WRT54G-TM today and did my first soldering on it. Wasn't hard at all. Just required some steady hands. I had 115 K26 MAX running on it but had no support for SDHC so i had to revert to 115 K24 SD-VPN. Here is the progress so far. The last thing that remains is to format the microSD card to ext2 with a card reader (which i dont have handy right now) . Lets see how that part goes later …
Some gentle hands
Seems to work when enabled
Final placement and cleanup job
Works / Detected but throws error as its not ext2 yet
Will update as i resolve this.
Edit / Update / Resolution : Had issues with the module even after an ext2 format so i changed the card to 512MB with ext2 and now it works. My guess is that the card was a knockoff.
Have a good day !
