Is it possible to get around the 2048 character limit for the Dnsmasq Custom Configuration textbox? I tried to edit /tmp/etc/dnsmasq.conf via SSH, but it doesn't have any affect, and the modifications disappear after I restart the dnsmasq service. I am running Shibby 1.28 build 115 on ASUS RT-N66U. Thanks!
The reason why you are unable to write on the file system is because that part is read only. What you can do is setup the JFFS partition and start dnsmasq by calling its config from the JFFS partition. Please look at a simple help page for DNSMasq here http://www.thekelleys.org.uk/dnsmasq/docs/dnsmasq-man.html . Hope it helps.
Have a great day!
