So at my house I have a N16 working as a gateway for the network, ISP, and WDS. <--——> At our shop, about 150ft away, I have a belkin n300, and a Verizon network extender.
THE PROBLEM: 20% reception with -59dBm caused all the cell phones on the Verizon extender to cut out every 3 seconds or so.
SOLUTION?: Throw a directional antenna on the N16, Belking has no external option
HELP: Will putting an antenna just on the n16 help, or will it just improve the transmit rate? How do I configure TomatoUSB Version 1.28 by shibby for optimal performance?
1: with an antenna
2: without an antenna
I've worked a bit with radio, but am no expert. What would be the cheapest easiest option here?
