This might be a stupid question.
I have two routers. The Primary Tp-Link WDR3600 router (stock firmware) and the Secondary Belkin F7D7302 (Tomato Firmware v1.28.7502 MIPSR2Toastman-RT K26 USB VPN). The secondary router is running openvpn.
The LAN of the primary router is connected to the WAN of the secondary (tomato open vpn router). Primary has an ip address of 192.168.0.1 and secondary 192.168.1.1. The devices connected to the secondary router are assigned the ip address from the secondary router. Is it possible to get the ip address assigned by the primary router rather than secondary router so that everything (like the NAS) is on one network? Do I just need to uncheck the DHCP server on the secondary router? I tried that but all the devices connected to the secondary router stopped working…might be I was doing something wrong.
