Specs: Asus NT-R16 with Tomato and Toastman build.
Before I go on, Yes, it is password protected. I do know that the passwords can be easily cracked and they may know the password.
I have been monitoring my home bandwidth usage, and I noticed one IP is using about 2.5gb every day for the past few days. Oddly enough, for 3 days it used the exact same bandwidth of 2,507mb. Since I am using Toastman, I am able to see bandwidth usage by IP address. Basically it shows the same information that the Bandwidth charts do, but splits it by IP. During the last 24h, the chart shows 0mb used, even though it has used some bandwidth in that time, so I can't see exactly when it occurs.
Currently, I have put an Access Restriction on the IP setting it so the router blocks all internet access, hopefully this solves the problem. If this doesn't work by blocking their IP (By either them just using a different computer), I can change the password, and if that still doesn't stop it, limit it to only the mac addresses that are known.
Right now, I can't see the IP in the device list as they currently aren't connected, but I would like to know their host name and get an OUI. Since they aren't connected now and it isn't showing up in the Device List, is there a way to see past users and retrieve info? I also know some IPs don't have a host name. I see one IP that doesn't have a hostname, but it is a samsung machine, so I am guessing it may be the tablet. Do I need to enter the hostname on the device, or do all devices have a hostname, but can choose not to share it? Can I put a custom hostname as well?
