I'm using tomatousb shibby V109-AIO with my Rt-N66U. I'm using the mini DLNA server with my samsung TV and after few minutes, I read a message "Device disconnected".
So I've read on another forum that this would be related with the SSDP:
//For wishing there is the following solution of problem, when DLNA client TV or other devices loses DLNA server after 30 minutes. Usually it is associated with the server on the router, but not only. The problem arises in the fact that the TV doesn't receive or process SSDP announcements from router. It receives information when connecting to the server only. Usually DLNA server sends the value max-age=1800, which gives lifetime SSDP announcement 30 minutes (1800 seconds). You can increase the lifetime of the SSDP announcement.
For some DLNA servers you can do following.
For minidlna, should be set notify_interval=90000 (as shown above). There's in a file minissdp.c value max-age is defined as (runtime_vars.notify_interval«1)+10.//
So, I changed the notify_interval to 90000 (25 hrs) and copied the minidlna.conf file back to the router via ssh. It seems to work so far because no more device disconnected display. A full movie (1h30) without any glitches.
Now, I'm trying to make the change permanent to a reboot. If I reboot the router, the old parameter is back. I really tried to find any info about how to do this… No luck.
Can someone please help me to achieve that?
Thanks in advance.
