how hard would it be to recompile with these options? My goal is to use loggly.com to store my logs but need to wget to an https address to be able to automate the process of authorizing a newly acquired dhcp wan address.
It isn't hard. But if you had to ask, that means it is very hard for your current skill set, sorry to say that.
Well then perhaps I could pay you to do it for me as I'd rather do that than spend hours trying something which only the result interests me and not the process. But perhaps you're not the one to do that since you think it's clever to tell me something I know.
If you have a router with enough jffs space, or you have a usb stick, I've compiled a static version of wget with ssl and zlib included.
This is the full fledged version of wget, as TomatoUSB uses a lesser version supplied by busybox.
hey effoj, did you succeed in using loggly with your tomato router? I am trying to do the same.
I have curl on my 1.28. I don't remember if that's part of the build or if I added it with ipkg or opkg. I know for sure I didn't compile it. curl will do an https fetch.
