I have an ASUS RT-N66U flashed with shibby's 1.28 tomatousb, and 50/5 Mbs cable internet (actual upload is about 2.5 Mbs)
I just added an obi110 device for voip service to my LAN.
After reading the QOS tutorial, I'm pretty sure that tomato's QOS isn't going to help me. Basically, I want to insure that the obi110's outgoing packets are going to take priority over all the other outgoing traffic. Most of my outgoing traffic happens over an openvpn connection for my torrenting activity — a single connection from the router's (and my ISP's) point of view.
Not that I've noticed it to be a problem yet, I don't want torrent uploads to interfere with my voice calls, but I want to give the uploading torrents all the available bandwidth when I'm not on a call.
Suggestions? Don't worry about it?
