Hello everyone, I've just bought a 4tb external drive to replace my ailing 1.5tb NTFS Partitioned external and I want to hook it up to my ASUS RT-N16, which currently is running his tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x-MIPSR2-108-AIO.
Now, I'm planning on formatting it as a single 4TB GPT ext3 partition, and have been lurking on the forums, trying to figure out if it will work, but I'm still confused. I've seen the thread Finally, custom firmware with true GPT support (EFI GUID), but it was posted in late 2011, and I know it was rolled into Toastman's builds. But, I also see in Shibby's changelog that he says GPT support was fixed as of 100, so I don't know if he borrowed the same code that Toastman rolled into his builds.
So, will my current build work with a 4TB GPT ext3 partition, or do I need to switch to Toastman or one of Yaniv's custom builds?
Thanks in advance!
