This one is a bit of a challenge for me lately.
Hooked up a M10v2 router running Toastman's Tomato release on parents 6Mbit/0.25Mbit cable line. With QoS enabled, my outgoing stream on a VOIP ATA device gets choppy and with QoS turned off, it becomes perfect.
Initially, I thought it was the ATA device but have configured it few-times and don't think that's the reason. Bandwidth is more than enough for a G.729 or even 711-u codec call.
What could it be? I thought Toastman had all the variables tweaked and ready to go. I have tried setting the outbound bandwidth to be 190 ad 200 kbps and results are same.
Thoughts?
Is Qos Not working on the latest firmwares?
