I've done a number of searches through forums and online and can't find an answer this basic question: How can you setup rules (either QOS or Router rules) within TomatoUSB to regulate the flow of traffic from sources within the router itself (Transmission, Media Server, etc)? As far as I can tell, whenever I am downloading/seeding torrents using the internal Shibby transmission client, that traffic does not show up within the "View Details" or "Transfer Rates" tracking within the QOS system.
I've seen the question posted elsewhere in this forum but never answered. Does anybody have a clue? Should I add a rule for the router's own IP address to the QOS rules? Or would this cause some sort of loop effect since it might catch DNS requests as well? Is there someway to setup a hard routing table rule that would map the router-based Transmission to another IP so that it would be included in the regular QOS setup.
