Router: ASUS RT-N16
HDD: Toshiba PX1626E-1HE0
As well as using the router to host a nas server and transmission, I often find myself switching between LT2P and DHCP settings. Sometimes when I switch between these setting I can no longer access the router through the normal 192.168.1.1 webpage. When this happens I unplug the router, wait for 10 seconds and plug it back in. After the router has rebooted and I am unable to access the transmission page 192.168.1.1:9091.
Is there a way to protect the transmission install against corruption in a power cycle?
Or is there a better way to reboot the router that wouldn't compromise the transmission install?
Thanks for your help.
