So I have installed TomatoUSB shibby, and I am trying to configure the media server. I have a few problems though. At first, I tried to set up a custom database path. My external hard drive is called "external". I tried using /mnt/external/dlnadatabase, and /mnt/dlnadatabase (i'm not sure which one is correct), but the media server would not scan with either path. The only way I could get it to scan was using JFFS. Also, using any other path other than /mnt/, it would not scan. Once I finally got it to scan, it freezes the router after a few minutes. Would this be an issue with a certain file, and is there any way to narrow down which one it is without removing all files and putting back one by one? Thanks.

I haven't figured out the freezing issue, but I have figured out the path. I didn't realize that my hard drive name is actually "EXTERNAL". Once I changed the case, it began scanning fine. Now to see if it actually finishes.
Ok, new problem. I successfully completed the scan. The only issue I have now is that every time I add a new file, it needs to rescan everything. I have the database saved on the external harddrive, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Any way to have it only scan for new files? Thanks.
