Running TomatoUSB v1.28.9054 MIPSR2-beta K26 Std on an Asus RT-N12 configured as an access point. It's used as a dedicated AP for streaming HD video to a WDTV-equipped TV. Because of the high bandwidth, I've found I need to run w/o encryption to get smooth video.
What I'm trying to do, is to restrict that AP's wireless clients to the single MAC and/or IP of the WDTV.
I've tried Access Restrictions, blocking all internet access except for the WDTV's MAC, but that does seem to work (other MACs can still connect). Does this feature work as it appears to? Is there a better/different way to set up wireless security w/o using WPA2, etc? TIA.
