I am in the process of migrating my main router from dd-wrt to tomato, primarily because I need the QOS features in the toastman builds. I have a Asus RT-N66U flashed with the latest toastman build.
I have another router linked to this router in "client bridge" mode, this router is running dd-wrt. it is configured as per the dd-wrt wiki here: www DOT dd-wrt DOT com/wiki/index.php/Client_Bridge (sorry for that, not allowed to post links)
The purpose of this is to enable the Media Center and gaming consoles in my livingroom to use this wireless bridge to connect to my main network and the Internet. This setup worked fine when I was using dd-wrt on my main router, it also worked fine with the default ASUS firmware on my main router. But it won't work properly when I installed tomato on my main router. Strange, because it's not supposed to be dependant on the "host router" at all.
Anyhow what happens is I have only local network connectivity, and I can't get on the internet at all. I can't ping my main router (with tomato) and nslookup does not work. DHCP does work tho so the tomato router is giving the boxes on the Client Bridge ip addresses.
It seems to me like it's a firewall/iptables issue with tomatoUSB. I tried Shibbys latest build as well and it had the exact same behaviour as Toastmans build.
Does anyone have any idea of what can be done to get this to work?
