Is it possible to configure openVPN (as in tomato, or a linux distro) to be used as traffic forwarding only, with no access to the local resource (the VPN server itself, and its subnet)? This question comes up as I was trying to help a friend lives in a country with internet censorship to circumvent the restrictions. I think there is commericial VPN service does that, however I am not sure how to configure a VPN server to limit it to traffic forwarding only.
SSH tunnel has a switch to disable shell access, which basically makes it forwarding only. However SSh tunnel is easy to setup, however difficult to use for average computer users.
Thanks for any hints.
