I've installed latest Shibby's Tomato on my RT-N16. Now I would like to set up the router to run udpxy on port 4, where a cable from my VDSL2 modem's port dedicated to video/IPTV is plugged in.
I successfully tested a similar combination on a Windows PC with two network cards. The card with the IPTV cable from the modem had to have a different IP (10.75.x.x). Windows version of UDP proxy connected to the "IPTV" card and served the requested content on another interface.
In the router I have set up new bridge br1 with the ip 10.75.x.x and proper netmask, no DHCP. Then I removed port 4 from vlan1 (LAN/br0) and created new vlan3 (LAN1/br1) with port 4 only. I have created LAN1 -> LAN and LAN -> LAN1 access rules. When I login to router and manually run udpxy as follows:
# udpxy -vTS -a br0 -p 7781 -m br1
udpxy connects to both interfaces and waits for request. But, as soon as request is received and it tries to read from br1/vlan3/port 4, it aborts with an error:
read_buf: read: Resource temporarily unavailable
read_data - EOF
I guess I must be missing some additional firewall rules. I would really appreciate any help in setting up these rules or pointing out, what I've done wrong.
