I'm enjoying Tomato on an Asus RT-N16, primarily for its openVPN ability. I'm in Beijing, behind the Great Firewall, and accustomed to a more open informational exchange. My issue is this:
I'd like to be able to place one machine outside of the VPN, for faster usenet download speeds. I want this computer to be accessible on a local network, but I don't want its outbound traffic to go through the openVPN tunneling. Is it possible to have it both ways, with some machines behind the VPN and others outside of it?
I'd leave them all in VPN, but ping and download speed are significantly faster from servers on this side of the ocean, even if everything else is locked down.
Thanks for your help!
