Running site-to-site OpenVPN via tun with "Tomato Firmware v1.28.7496 MIPSR2-Toastman-RT K26 USB VPN" on the server router, and "Tomato Firmware v1.28.7633 -Toastman-IPT-ND ND VPN" on the client router.
The VPN works, but I cannot browse my network via "Network" (on Win7) or "Network Neighborhood" on XP, from the client router to the server router.
I also cannot ping NETBIOS names from my client router to my server router, the names don't resolve.
I have the server router acting as a WINS server. My client PC's all see the WINS server. And I can do things like:
from a client PC and see the contents of the share which is located on a server PC.
Doing some research, I think I need to add "topology subnet" to the OpenVPN config on the OpenVPN server router. But when I add "topology subnet" to the custom configuration of on the router, I cannot get the OpenVPN service to start.
Do I need to add something in front of "topology subnet?" Is "topology subnet" not supported in the version of OpenVPN in the Tomato I have?
Any other ideas?
