I've read that some of you have gotten Tomato to work on the Asus RT-N66U, but has anyone tried it on the RT-N66R? This R model is supposedly the exact same as the U, but sold by Best Buy in the US.

We're waiting for you to try, or are you expecting someone to be the sacrificial lamb?
"some of you have gotten Tomato to work"
hardly surprising, since it's a supported router
Wow, thanks for the warm welcome guys. Hardly the feedback I was expecting. Is this a lesson in symantics? I'm simply a noob, considering loading Tomato and trying to get some information to make an informed decision. Can anyone provide me with some useful information please?
And I assure you that noob does not mean I'm too fucking lazy to read the links on the side and research.
Wow, what a douchebag, whoever posted that. Of course I read and researched. Please direct me to the information on the Asus RT-N66R as I have not been able to find it.
Hi Leandroong, thanks for your reply, but there's nothing at that page that says Asus RT-N66R, so at this point I'll take away from this that nobody has tried Tomato on the R model.
No but I have great confidence that you shall be the first and will report back here with your good will
Know this is a bit late, but for what its worth, can confirm that it works just fine on RT-N66R (which is the exact same as RT-N66U on the inside). Just did it and the only other experience I have similar to this is jail breaking my atv 1, so pretty straight forward procedure. I think I'm going to like the tomato.
