Hey guys, I recently installed Tomato on my LinkSys E4200 in hopes of both better network performance and better QoS functionality. So far the firmware looks great and I've read a bunch of information about QoS and setting it up with Tomato. I have 5 active desktops in the house and perhaps 2 laptops going at any time and I've been trying to prioritize my gaming PCs traffic over everything else. Every tutorial I've tried so far has failed and so I did a small test to see whether I could lower my ping. While no other computers are doing any network activity my ping is ideal and games are playable, however just one or two computer browsing the internet will cripple online games (250+ ms). I've tried setting a rule that made all traffic but mine use a class set to 1% for both upload and download caps. Oddly enough this did nothing for my ping times yet the network traffic seems to indicate I have all the bandwidth I could need.
Below is an image of the network graph. The default and lowest classes are capped at 1% and highest (applied to my PC) is 100%.
In the picture my PC was in-game with about 260 ping on a server I'd easily get 40 ping on normally.

Its worth noting that a torrent was running during my test. However and as seen in the picture, the cap didn't allow it to use more than a few kilobits for upload or download.
