I have an ASUS NT-R16 with TomatoUSB and was able to successfully mount a 2GB USB flash drive that is plugged directly into the router's USB port as a CIFS1 a couple of years ago. Everything was working fine, but I unplugged the router power a couple of weeks ago and replugged it back in, and now the flash drive won't mount.
I can read the flash drive fine on my Windows computer, and it displays the backup files for the bandwidth logs fine. However, TomatoUSB reports nothing mounted when I plug it into the router. It's been so long since I mounted it before, that I might be missing steps… sorry, any help would be appreciated.
Under USB and NAS, I have Core USB, USB 2.0, USB Storage Support, all file systems support checked, as well as automount checked. Under Administration-CIFS, I have /cifs1 enabled with UNC as \\192.168.1.1\sda1. Username and password are the same as how I login to TomatoUSB. The rest of the fields are blank.
