Hi,
I have a personal server that I've been using for years now. I have a domain name registered through GoDaddy. I recently moved into a new apartment and had to sign up for a different ISP. When I had moved before, I kept the same ISP and would just updated the DNS "@" record on GoDaddy's site to whatever my external IP address was, which from what I can remember was always located under WAN/IP Address in Tomato's overview page. I just had internet installed and everything works fine, but I notice that Tomato lists my local address as 192.1.0.2. This is obviously a local address, and when I use whatismyip.com I get a true external address. Obviously I put in the external address into GoDaddy's settings, but I'm still unable to connect to my site after 2 days. I have a feeling the problem is relating to the local address the router is showing. I can even hit my site when I go to 192.1.0.2 in a browser. Why is this happening? How can I fix the issue? Thanks!
