Hello, I am trying to run a server on my computer, where [program 2] connects (externally) to the WAN IP, then gets port forwarded to [program 1] on the same machine. Problem is, it's continuously returning as the gateway IP (192.168.1.1), rather than the WAN IP.
I've spent days looking for an fix, and learned about NAT Loopback, which I believe is causing it, so I just installed Tomato to try to remedy it. Problem is now is that I don't what should be set to allow it to work how it should.
I have NAT Loopback on "All", and when I tried putting it on "Forward Only", it didn't connect.
When I have NAT loopback on "All", it connects, but as 192.168.1.1 (Router/Gateway IP).
When I put it across the LAN, or connect the computer directly to the modem, it shows properly.
Any idea what to change to make it connect thru WAN? I'm noob on Tomato, so… all help and mercy is greatly appreciated! :)
