hi i want to build a vlan trunk on one port with a couple of vlans with various ids between 150 and 700 (no more than 4 vlans in the trunk). up to now i was using a patched switch-robo.ko on dd-wrt, but dd-wrt does not reliably support the new rt-n66u routers and has had some stability problems anyway, so i decided to try tomato.
is there a way to add arbitrary vlans via command line / ssh and create a trunk like this (dd-wrt code):
echo "1 2 3 8*" > /proc/switch/eth0/vlan/0/ports echo "0t 8" >/proc/switch/eth0/vlan/600/ports echo "0t 8" >/proc/switch/eth0/vlan/650/ports echo "0t 8" >/proc/switch/eth0/vlan/151/ports
the thing is, i cannot change the vlan ids because they are defined by our upstream provider. i don't need a gui, just a way to create tagged vlan interfaces.
can this be done?
thanks in advance,
