Need help to do a hard reset NVRAM for a router. 30-30-30 not working. Any methods available w/o ip/GUI access to Tomato?
Installed TomatoUSB in a WRT54G v4. Configured OpenVPN server, network settings, DHCP, the works. All working fine for 4 days.
Today I tested changing the router from NAT to BRIDGE Mode (my DSL modem is a router as well)… I disabled DHCP, set static IP 192.168.0.10 gateway 192.168.0.1 (255.255.255.X) and cannot access TomatoUSB GUI anymore. Heck router is not even pinging.
A client with Vista (static IP 192.168.0.20 255.255.255.0) and direct cable to the router, cannot ping it.
(if I force 192.168.0.10, then Vista complains of duplicate address on the network so router is alive and kicking)
I tried 30-30-30 resets several times but not doing full (or partial for that matter) NVRAM resets. SSID continues to be active (WEP password is active). Telnet / SSH / TFTP not worked so far (no ip access to the router).
Any help / ideas on what to do / how to gain access to the router much appreciated.
