I have an Asus N66U router with Shibby Tomato Firmware 1.28.0000 MIPSR2-100 K26 USB AIO-64K. I'm trying to get my old Sierra Wireless 598 CDMA internet stick working as the 3G WAN but I'm having some problems. Shibby is awesome and I'm sure this is just a problem with my stick, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong venue for my question. If anyone could offer any advice, that would be greatly appreciated! I have tested the Sierra on my windows machine and it connects dialing #777.

I think the device is being recognized correctly as 1199:0025. I've read that the Sierra 598 has an internal micro SD card and it sometimes will be recognized as 1199:0fff so you have to use usb_modeswitch. I've also read that the 598 tries to auto-install the watcher software ("Tru-Install"), so I downloaded the little program to disable that.
What else can I try? Thank you so much!
