I'm new to the forums and also the usage of OpenSource routers but works as an It professional. I called Netgear to discuss my issue and there response was that they would check it out and return to me, 1 week later and still no call from them *sigh*.
I bought a WNR3500Lv2 a few weeks ago and have been trying to get it to work in my network since without any success. First some info about the network itself.
In my network I first have a gateway from my ISP, it has limited configuration abilities and can not be swapped for another unit as they have special preferences hidden (and they won't tell me what they are) for the IP-TV. The gateway has ip 192.168.0.10 and acts as DNS and DHCP in my network. The manufacturer is Netgear.
The WRN3500Lv2 is connected to the gateway via the cable LAN. It has the ip 192.168.0.1 and is using "tomato-Netgear-3500Lv2-K26USB-1.28.RT-N5x—097-AIO".
Now the problem, when a device connects to the wifi it does not receive any DHCP lease from the gateway. All thou all computers (and other device) work fine if they connect via cable to the 3500. So it would seem that the 3500 does not forward the DHCP request from the wifi to the gateway.
Here is the settings used for the wifi.
<Seems like I'm to new to the forum to post links, send me a PM for it>
Anyone have a clue on what the issue might be or a solution for it?
