We’re happy to announce the release of EasyTomato 0.7 beta. If you don’t know what EasyTomato is, you can read about it in our previous forum post. These are the following changes since 0.6:
· Ability to rename devices in the EasyTomato interface. (note: these are not network hostnames, but only visual identifiers in
· Router time displayed in EasyTomato interface
· Build now includes OpenVPN
· Numerous bug fixes
If you’re already running EasyTomato please upgrade to the newest version and if you are thinking of trying it… try it and then give feedback! (downloads found at easytomato.org) We’ve had a good number of downloads but very few bug submissions, so please do submit when you find something that needs squishing!
Moving forward our barebones roadmap is in github for those who are interested. We hope to have 0.8 out in a month or so. 0.8 will be a major release (new bandwidth per IP graphing) and hopefully our last before 1.0.
As always we love constructive feedback, but please keep the target user (teacher or nurse in the developing world) in mind when commenting.
