I've been using Linux since the very beginning, but I'm very much a Tomato newbie (last time I messed with firewall rules directly on Linux it was using whatever it was that existed before ipchains).
I have my ASUS RT-N66U setup as a router rather than gateway, using PPPoE to another ADSL router that is setup in bridge mode. I have a /27 block of IP addresses being routed by it.
I have the firewall setup to my liking (it was a bit of shock when I found it forwarding everything by default when it switched from gateway to router). I have the Tomato doing my DHCP (with most of my devices set with static leases, but not with ARP binding set).
What I can't get working though it IP Traffic. The screens show no data (the UI loads, the drop downs with addresses in are empty).
Can anyone give me any hints on where to look to get this working. Ironically this feature was the main reason I changed routers…
Things I have tried:
- turning IP Traffic Monitoring on/off
- turning auto discovery on/off
- explicitly setting included IPs
- checking "create new file"
