Are there any plans to develop Tomato firmware for this router? I'm looking into buying it and I've seen that the folks at DD-WRT have ported their firmware to this device, but I've always liked Tomato much better. Any thoughts?
I can confidently state that there are NO plans, but that doesn't mean no-one will do it! When was the last dd-wrt full release is the next full version of dd-wrt due? They at least have a bug track system!
Did dd-wrt build the Buffalo firmware? I see they have bumped the reported kernel again to 2.6.24, which makes it hard for other projects to use their kernel modules.
It has Broadcom BCM5300 rated at 300 MHz and Openwrt works i am sure. It has commonalities with the ASUS RT-N66U & Netgear WNDR4500 according to OpenWRT info pages.
