I've got a new Asus rt-n16 and installed tomatousb on it. I've been using a dd-wrt AP so far with 2 routers connected in bridge mode (all are wrt-54gl).
I'm wondering now if I could also use tomatousb for this, either by connecting the dd-wrt clients somehow to it as a bridge, or installing it on
all my routeres (asus and wrt54gls).
However, I'm not sure if:
a) it works to have an Asus main AP and linksys bridge clients
b) it can be secured, I've read that only wep is possible in bridge mode, is that right? or what are the implications regarding security here?
I would prefer tomatousb, but I'm not sure if its possible or if I have to use dd-wrt again :(
I've only found a lot of contradicting articles/posts..
Thanks a lot,
