I have a Linksys E3000 router, currently running the stock firmware, and I'd like to make it do more. Specifically, I'd like to:
- Keep the dual-band capability
- Persistently connect to a PPTP server
- Share files on an attached hard drive with SMB
- Act as a Time Capsule (network backup) for my Mac running OS X 10.7 (Lion)
I see netatalk available as a package for dd-wrt; would this work with one of the Tomato firmware releases? And which would be a good choice to accomplish what I'm looking for here?
