I know this has been brought up before, and I've seen another script 'Ad-Blocking' exactly the way I want to peerblock. I don't really think this is a feature for everyone and probably to much to ask. It's safe to say I'm a novice when it come to *nix. I can follow instructions and understand most of the basics, so me doing this myself is out of the question. But I just ordered the RT-N66U and it'll be here Thursday. I would love to see some kind of peerblocking like peerblock/peerguardian on these big new routers.
I've used a dependable wrt54g v2 since 2001/2, not sure exactly. But that little bugger has been going strong to this day. I also know that something like what I'm asking was not possible on it as I've read before. But since I'm getting this nice new shiny 'Precious' this week, I'm wondering if we can hope to see something like this in the foreseeable future on one of the tomato builds.
If it's some how possible and maybe someone already has some kinda mod to add to tomato that isn't to hard to understand. When I say that, I mean someone that can cater with their explanations like Toastman did on his QoS thread lol. He's my hero when it comes to QoS!
