I can't get this working for the life of me. The rndis_host driver won't bind to my Galaxy Nexus, but it works on my laptop (Linux 2.6.25-32-generic on Mint 10). I've even tried
# echo -e "1-2:1.0" > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/rndis_host/bind # But no luck.
There isn't a driver symlink in /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-2:1.0/
I have mii, usbnet, cdc_ether, and rndis_host loaded with no errors, but when I plug in my phone to tether, I just get:
usb 1-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 9
usb 1-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
And that's it. I've also posted here: tomatousb. org/forum/t-295012#post-1416676
Note: I've also tried 1-2:1.1 everywhere I put 1-2:1.0
I'm 15, so what?
