Can I use a previous tomato backup config file? I have the latest AIO shibby 1.28 build for the RT-N66U and wanted to load the config file from my older WRT54G. I was hoping to load all of the previous configurations into this build but I didnt want to screw anything up. Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

I'm also curious about this: If you're using, say, AIO Shibby 88, can you backup that config file, flash to AIO Shibby 92, and import the backup config? Or does each new release need to have all options configured manually?
yes you can restored your config at any version, I did that already. There is one bug that I reported, just recently. The SSID is not restored correctly. It uses ssid name "wireless" instead of saved config ssid. Minor error, just edit it.
