I just want to be 100% sure about this before I go and brick another router due to not double checking my facts (yes, I bricked my last linksys router with tomatousb, and it was entirely my fault for not reading carefully enough).
So, can I directly flash shibby's AIO build to a new RT-N16 with the default firmware? Or should I flash the regular tomatousb build first?
I'm planning on using what I think is the newest AIO build, tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-092-AIO unless someone points me to a different build.
I'm planning on using moonlightknighthk's guide to installing tomato on asus routers (I'd just post the link, but I can't).
I've also read that I should clear my nvram before and after installing a new firmware. I wanted to double check that I don't need to clear my nvram on my new RT-N16 before flashing shibby because you can't clear nvram using the default firmware. I'll still need to clear it after shibby is running though.
