Well. The tomatousb + transmission broke my ext3 partition on external usb hdd. When transmission is running, it impacts very hard the disk. Especially when transmission verifies the torrent file. I don't know what is so speciall in reading the downloaded file by transmission, but when it does this, usb hdd is loosed by the system. In logs appears repeated messages about finding new device on USB and mounting.
For start, transmission broked the folder structure and some downloaded files where no longer accesible. ls command showed "No such file or folder" for some torrents.
And now, it broke the whole partition structure.
What should I do? I can't restore the files. Will ntfs partition be stable?
