OK. I have messed up two different ASUS RT-N12 (B) routers trying to install either dd-wrt or tomatoUSB. In each case I end booting to the bare bones ASUS web page. This is even though I am following instructions precisely, and the ASUS firmware restore utility (off the CD and downloaded) tells me everything went just peachy. Nor can I install any 3rd firmware from the bare bones page.
I don't know what I am doing wrong, and rather continue begging for assistance on this forum I would like to simply offer payment to someone who knows what they are doing to install Tomato for me. Here's the deal:
1) You must have experience flashing tomato to an RT-N12 B. Period.
2) I will drop ship the router to you from Amazon, then you ship the router to me once flashed.
This is for a client of mine running a business, so I will just bill my client for the service of having the fw installed. Just let me know how much you want to perform the service. It's a $44 router so please don't get carried away.
I don't know why I am being such a retard on this seemingly straightforward task, but hell, I have trouble growing tomatoes in my garden, so maybe it's a genetic defect.
