I'm trying to install Optware and then Transmission in order to be able to use Transmission even if my pc is off.
I have a HDD connected to my router via USB cable.
I used [h t t p:// www. dd-wrt. com/wiki/index.php/How_to_-_Format_and_Partition_External_Storage_Device this] link to prepare my HDD and installed Optware, Swapfile and a NTFS partition.
Then I started with Optware installation using [h t t p:// tomatousb. org/tut:optware-installation this] tutorial. Now I'm stuck with:
wget h t t p: tomatousb. org/local—files/ tut:optware- installation/ optware-install. sh -O - | tr -d '\r' > /tmp/ optware- install. sh
chmod +x /tmp/optware-install.sh
sh /tmp/ optware- install. sh//
When I execute the last line I get this error:
Checking system config …
Using 184.108.40.206 as the default gateway.
Using the following nameserver(s):
Error: /opt partition not mounted.
For running Optware on JFFS (not recommended), enter
mount -o bind /jffs/opt /opt
to correct this.
Running Optware on JFFS is not recommended, so what shall I do?
Thank you in advance.
